Chris didn’t start playing rugby until after college, but he quickly found a love for the sport. After graduating from Tufts University, Alex Zadel, of the women’s team, convinced him rugby was the sport for him and that playing for Charles River was less of an if and more of a when. Her suggestion proved to be more accurate than either could have realized. Starting off at front row, Chris supported the team on the field in any way that he could, whether playing on the B-Side, coming on in relief on A-Side, or providing a spot start in a pinch. In 2013, he received the Orange Whip Award for his commitment to the club even through a string of dislocated shoulders. Chris has previously served as the Field Secretary and not runs the numbers as Treasurer.
