His name is Jerry Kenneally, but the ladies call him handsome, and he is the current Social Secretary for The Rats. He started his rugby career in 2004, playing flanker and lock for Wentworth Institute of Technology. By the following year he was already moonlighting for the Orange Whips on his teams off days. It was during these first few weekends, that he watched as The Rats A-side went on to finish 2nd place in the Division ll playoffs. It didn’t take much more for him to decide that he wanted in. So the following season, in the fall of 2006, he left Wentworth to play exclusively for Charles River. There, it was instantly realized that he was too good-looking to be a forward, and coach Fergal Hehir promptly switched him to the back line, where he established himself as the starting fullback. All these years later, he can still be found on any given Saturday wearing number 15 for the green and orange. He may be one of the older guys out there on a weekly basis, but like a fine wine, he seems to be getting better with age, and is looking to make 2015 his best year yet.
